According to the Walt Disney Museum website, Saturday June 3rd will be a day full of festivities in downtown Marceline, Missouri. The day begins with a ticketed event, which is already sold out, for D23 Gold members. D23: The Official Disney Fan Club is proud to invite D23 Gold Members back to Walt’s boyhood hometown for a one-of-a-kind experience that includes exploring the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, visiting Walt Disney Elementary School, strolling down Marceline’s own “Main Street, U.S.A.,” and even a special dinner reception outside Walt’s former farmhouse!

EVENT INCLUDES:
- Motorcoach transportation for the round-trip journey from Chillicothe, Missouri, to Marceline
- Special presentation and Q&A with Bob Wilson, retired CEO, COO of Retlaw Enterprises, the Disney family’s private corporation
- Lunch at your choice of one of Marceline’s local restaurants
- Access to the Walt Disney Hometown Museum
- Ability to explore various parts of Marceline, such as the Marceline Post Office, Walt Disney Elementary School, and other locations on Main Street

Then from 12-4pm, everyone is invited to a street party followed by a Citizen Clock dedication in the Walt Disney Hometown Museum Garden. This event includes the following fun activities:
– Live entertainment, food and drink all designed by specialty vendors.
– Draw live with Illustrator and longtime Disney artist, Jeff Shelly
– Watch creator Ryan “Arcy” Christenson paint a mural in the park.
– Adventure through the town of Marceline with a scavenger hunt
– Collect a special cancellation stamp at the Walt Disney Post Office

– Join us to celebrate a moment in time where Citizen dedicates the replica Main Street U.S.A. clock to the Walt Disney Hometown Museum Garden.

While there, see the 3 elephant calves, 1 born this year and 2 last year, as well as the 10best exhibit, the Asian highlands.
