According to the post by Vanessa de la Viña, several characters will be making their meet and greet debut at Walt Disney World, including Mirabel of La familia madrigal. See below for more information!
New Character Greetings Debuting Soon
Let’s start with one of the most magical moments: meeting your Disney favorites face-to-face. We recently saw the return of fan-favorite character experiences including Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto and Pete’s Silly Sideshow at Magic Kingdom Park. New friends will make their debut soon.

Just in time for the 25th Anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Moana, from the hit Walt Disney Animation Studios film, will greet fellow voyagers on Discovery Island for the first time, starting April 22.
Later this summer, guests will get the chance to hug long-time EPCOT icon Figment at the Imagination! pavilion.

And this fall, Mirabel from Disney Animation’s Academy Award-winning film “Encanto” will greet guests in the Fairytale Garden at Magic Kingdom, which will be transformed with whimsical décor inspired by la Familia Madrigal. Unfortunately, this means that the Merida Meet and Greet will be going away at the Magic Kingdom. Hopefully they’ll find a new spot for her as us red heads need representation too!

We got to meet Mirabel and Moana on our last trip to Disneyland. They’re both so sweet, but definitely looking forward to seeing these characters at Disney World as well as Figment! Which new character greeting are you most excited for at Disney World? Comment below to let us know!
If you’re ready to start exploring a Walt Disney World or Disneyland family vacation, I recommend checking out Undercover Tourist for your ticket options. I’ve already used them twice, once at Disneyland and once at Disney World and will plan to continue comparing their prices with other sites, however I usually come back to UT because they have the best deals and their instructions make it easy to add your tickets to the Disney apps.
