California Dreamin’ Photo Report

On our recent trip to California, we had the opportunity to visit several fun Tourist spots along the way. Our first stop was the Santa Monica pier. The pier is definitely a tourist spot with several food stops, shops and an amusement park. We ate lunch and visited the beach but ended up not doing any of the rides.

We also stopped in the ARTIC (Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center). This building allows you to take a train into Los Angeles or catch a bus to other parts of Anaheim. It’s also right next to Angels Stadium

Another great spot we found was the Griffith Observatory where we had great views of the sprawling city as well as the hills that divide the area and are home to the Hollywood sign. The building was closed the day we visited, but we could still walk around the outside and enjoy the views, which were great for a 360 image. The observatory is also about 15 minutes from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, making it easy to hit both spots in an afternoon.

We also spent the morning on a dolphin and whale watching adventure by Captain Dave. I wasn’t able to grab a sphere shot on the ocean, so I grabbed a couple of the boats

Overall, it was a great trip out to California and great to see all the sights we typically only see on television.

If you’re ready to start exploring a Walt Disney World or Disneyland family vacation, I recommend checking out Undercover Tourist for your ticket options. I’ve already used them twice, once at Disneyland and once at Disney World and will plan to continue comparing their prices with other sites, however I usually come back to UT because they have the best deals and their instructions make it easy to add your tickets to the Disney apps.
