Recently we made a trip to Disneyland in California. Going in early August, we hit the sweet spot between crowds. Early in the summer crowds were high after the yearlong closure of the parks, then higher crowds returned again in the fall for Halloween.

Upon entering the park and getting the first views of Main Street, the area in front of the train station was relatively empty:

At rope drop, we raced over to the updated Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, then Pinocchio’s Daring Journey, Mr. Toads Wild Ride, King Arthur’s Carrousel, Dumbo, Casey Junior Circus Train, Mad Tea Party and the Story Book Canal Boats all in the first hour of the park being open. We took a short break and headed for it’s a small world.
Overall, we had a great morning in the park. Other rides we went on were the Gadget’s Go Coaster, Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster.
